Through our services, GU leads the way in providing sustainable energy solutions to our customers. Thus, we are part of the solution when developing society in a more sustainable direction. Overall, we are committed to conducting our business in a sustainable, ethical and commercially viable way.

VENI Energy Group was one of the first major market participants to introduce documented environmentally friendly origins as standard for the electricity consumed by its customers. For more than a decade we have created demand and led the way in delivering sustainable energy solutions. Today, we are a trusted partner, supporting our customers in their transition towards more sustainable operations.

Over the last 10 years, we have converted more than 30,000 customers from high-emission to low-emission or renewable energy use. In 2023, we documented the delivery of more than 7 billion kWh of clean fossil-free power to our customers across the Nordics. In Norway and Sweden our energy sourcing customers have received environmentally friendly energy since 2014.

Together with our partners we enable our customers to achieve a positive sustainability impact by delivering energy solutions that are affordable, accessible, and publicly supported. Our standard offering to customers is certified fossil-free energy, and we also offer renewable energy in our product portfolio.

Our commitment to sustainability drives us to help all our customers switch to environmentally friendly energy solutions. With some customers we are still in the process of making this transition.

Delivering environmentally friendly energy

We help our customers reduce their environmental footprint by providing various sustainable energy solutions, ranging from documented fossil-free energy to 100% renewable energy.

Data for ESG reporting

To assist our customers with sustainability reporting, we provide specifications on the energy usage, including the CO2 and greenhouse gas information necessary for ESG reporting and analysis.

Emission performance

We provide our customers with documented insights into the composition of our energy delivery, offering a clear overview of emission performance either as a plain report or a certificate.

Efficient use of solar energy

In collaboration with our partners, we offer metering solutions that optimize the use of electricity generated by solar panels mounted on commercial buildings. We can also assist in finding solutions that incorporate power storage to optimize the electricity onsite for economically efficient use. Here, our key role is to deliver precise metering and settlement services.
